Over 15 years ago, Nastassia became a pharmacy technician to help people. Her next goal is to train new pharmacy technicians and show them how valuable pharmacy technicians are. Her advice includes, “When faced with challenges, don't get discouraged, and don’t be afraid to get help.”

Tell us about your career goals.

I became a pharmacy technician because I wanted to help people. It was a quick and easy career choice for me when I started out over 15 years ago. Within the next five years, I want to train and teach new pharmacy technicians and show them how valuable pharmacy technicians are.

What inspired you to earn your CPhT-Adv?

Achieving my Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician certification was something I did for myself.

What advice would you give pharmacy technicians as they explore their unique career paths?

Every pharmacy technician should challenge themselves in the field. PTCB helps with that by offering the Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician credential. When faced with challenges, don't get discouraged, and don’t be afraid to get help.
