PTCB travels across North America to exhibit at tradeshows, present during conferences and attend meetings to support the role of Certified Pharmacy Technicians. ATP 2018 Innovations in Testing Conference
February 18-21, 2018 • San Antonio, TX
PTCB experts will present at three sessions at the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) Innovations Conference in San Antonio February 18 - 21. PTCB’s Associate Director of Psychometrics, Xiaohui (Dawn) Zhao, PhD, and Associate Director of Test Development, Tina Chang, MS, will share their insights on a series of test development, psychometrics, and accreditation topics, including how to strategically plan a job analysis. One session will focus on creating a certification program based on a heterogeneous worker population employed in various practice settings -- including community, health-system, and others -- with standardized universally-applicable exam content.

MPA Annual Convention & Exposition

February 23-25, 2018 • Detroit, MI
PTCB Assessment Content Developer Rachel Seiderman, CPhT will present "CPhT Program Changes & Introduction to the New Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation TechnicianTM (CSPTTM) Program" on February 23 at 9 AM during the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA) Annual Convention & Exposition. The event offers more than 40 continuing education (CE) programs, or approximately 21 hours of live CE activities, throughout the weekend, including at least one pain program, one law program and one patient safety program each day.

APhA Annual Meeting
March 16-19, 2018 • Nashville, TN
PTCB will exhibit at booth 616 during the American Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting and Convention at the Music City Center in downtown Nashville. The event offers various opportunities for networking and earning continuing education (CE) hours.

PTCB exhibited at the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (ICAP) Educational Conference. The event offered a variety of CE contact hours, an exhibit floor, networking opportunities and unique programming.

ACTE's CareerTech Vision 2017
December 6-9, 2017 • Nashville, TN
PTCB exhibited at booth 206 at the Association for Career and Technical Education's CareerTech Vision 2017. The event was the premier annual gathering of CTE professionals with an exciting, educational, informative and inspirational agenda packed with CTE sessions, expo show and career pavilion, awards and recognition, and a rich array of networking opportunities.

ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting
December 3-7, 2017 • Orlando, FL
PTCB exhibited at booth 1467 at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Midyear Clinical Meeting. The meeting was attended by more than 25,000 pharmacy professionals and provided valuable opportunities for professional development, networking, enhancing practice skills, and staying current with the latest products and innovations.

MSHP Pharmacy Technician Conference

PTCB exhibited and presented at the Minnesota Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists 2017 Pharmacy Technician Conference. PTCB Partnership Development Manager Zack Green, CPhT presented the CE "Pharmacy Technicians Today: National Legislative and Regulatory Landscape" at 11:45 AM in the Garden City Ballroom.

NCPA Annual Convention
October 14-18, 2017 • Orlando, FL
PTCB exhibited at booth 611 at the NCPA Annual Convention. The event offered exclusive access to 30+ educational sessions covering all of the dimensions of pharmacy business (front end, expanding opportunities, and the back office), hundreds of vendors showcasing products, services, and technology, countless opportunities to network with peers, and innovative, new business ideas.

Maine Pharmacists Association Sesquicentennial

PTCB Director of Strategic Alliances Miriam A. Mobley Smith, PharmD, FASHP presented the CE “Advancing the Roles for Technicians in an Evolving Health Care Environment” in two parts at 1 PM and 2 PM on Saturday, October 14 at the Maine Pharmacy Association Sesquicentennial. The event was sponsored by the Maine Pharmacy Association and the Maine Society of Health System Pharmacists and provided the opportunity to network with pharmacists from all practice experiences.

Northland Association of Pharmacy Technicians Fall Conference
September 15-16, 2017 • Bismarck, ND
PTCB Associate Director of Strategic Alliances Richard Hillbom, R.Ph., presented the CE "Pharmacy Technician Practice: Advancements and Opportunities" at 11:25 AM on Saturday, September 16 during the NAPT Fall Conference. The event was for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students. The 2017 conference theme was "Basic ABCs of Pharmacy with the Goal of Patient Safety; Defining the Pharmacy Technician’s role.”

77th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 2017

PTCB attended the 2017 FIP Congress. The event invited an international audience of pharmacy professionals and pharmaceutical scientists to go beyond medicines and answer patients’ demand for high quality help and advice.

Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar

PTCB exhibited at booth 320 during the Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar. The event was the premier gathering of federal pharmacy practitioners, representing the best thinking and practice in pharmacy. JFPS 2017 was developed by pharmacy experts who share ideas regarding strategies, leading change, effective processes, what's working, and challenges in federal pharmacy.

Minnesota Pharmacy Association Annual Learning Networking Event

PTCB Director of Strategic Alliances Miriam A. Mobley Smith, PharmD, FASHP presented the CE “Advancing the Roles for Technicians in an Evolving Health Care Environment” at 3 PM on Thursday, September 7 at the MPhA's Annual Learning Networking Event. The event brought together pharmacists, student pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, industry professionals, and leaders for two days of cutting-edge programming and networking.

National Association of Chain Drug Stores Total Store Expo
August 19-22, 2017 • San Diego, CA
PTCB exhibited at booth 2103 at the NACDS Total Store Expo. The event was a gathering of industry leaders with an exhibit floor full of of the latest products and services from innovative suppliers of consumer goods, pharmacy, supply chain and logistics technology.

American Association of Pharmacy Technicians National Convention
August 3-5, 2017 • Omaha, NE
PTCB exhibited and presented at the AAPT 35th Annual National Convention. PTCB Partnership Development Manager Zack Green, CPhT presented the CE "Pharmacy Technicians Today: National Legislative and Regulatory Landscape." The goal of this convention was to bring pharmacy technicians together to provide education that promotes advancement in individual careers and improvement in patient safety.

National Pharmaceutical Association Annual National Convention
July 28-31, 2017 • Las Vegas, NV
PTCB exhibited at the NPhA 70th Annual National Convention. NPhA is a nationwide, professional organization of pharmacists. The convention was an opportunity for pharmacy professionals to network, visit the exhibit hall, and earn Continuing Education (CE) hours.

Cardinal Health RBC
July 26-29, 2017 • San Antonio, TX
PTCB exhibited at RBC, an annual pharmacy business conference hosted by Cardinal Health. RBC celebrated the history and value of the independent pharmacy, and provided numerous opportunities for independent pharmacy owners to learn how to expand their business. Attendees also earned CE credits from over 50 courses.

American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Annual Meeting

PTCB attended the 2017 AACP Annual Meeting. The meeting explored the current healthcare environment and anticipated changes; the emphasis on patient care and counseling; and the growing recognition of pharmacists as important members of the healthcare team.

Pharmacy Technician Educators Council Annual Conference

PTCB exhibited at the PTEC Annual Conference. PTEC unites, supports, and empowers educators in the training and education of pharmacy technicians. The annual conference provided attendees with the opportunity to build professional networks, collect resources for the classroom, learn about ASHP accreditation, gain insight from experienced educators, connect with publishers, and more.

American School Counselor Association Annual Conference
July 8-11, 2017 • Denver, CO
PTCB exhibited at booth 311 during the ASCA Annual Conference. The meeting gathered 3,000 school counseling professionals for four days of inspirational keynote sessions, informative breakout sessions, and in-depth looks at hot topics in the school counseling profession.

Wyoming Pharmacy Association Annual Meeting

PTCB exhibited at the Wyoming Pharmacy Association Annual Meeting. The 100th Annual Convention of WPhA was an opportunity for members of the pharmacy profession to engage in various activities and events that build professional development, strengthen relationships, recognize those excelling in our profession, and support WPhA and WSHP association processes.

PTCB exhibited at PSSNY's 2017 Annual Meeting. This meeting featured an exhibit hall, new solution center, networking opportunities, and Continuing Education (CE) sessions for both pharmacy technicians and pharmacists.

Colorado Pharmacists Society Annual Meeting

PTCB Director of Strategic Alliances Miriam A. Mobley Smith, PharmD, FASHP presented the CE “Advancing the Roles for Technicians in an Evolving Health Care Environment: Failure is Not an Option” at 2:15 PM on Thursday, June 15 at the Colorado Pharmacists Society Annual Meeting. The meeting was designed specifically for pharmacist and pharmacy technicians with an exhibit hall and well-rounded educational program including regulatory updates and clinical disease management issues.

NABP Annual Meeting

PTCB exhibited at the NABP 113th Annual Meeting. This meeting provided pharmacy professionals with an opportunity to take an active role in protecting the public health. In addition to the important business sessions, attendees had the opportunity to participate in networking opportunities and Continuing Education (CE) sessions for both pharmacy technicians and pharmacists.

Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists Annual Seminar
