Collaborating With State Pharmacy Associations to Advance Technician Careers

PTCB collaborates with 71 state pharmacy associations representing all practice settings in 46 states through our State Associate Program. Working directly with state pharmacy associations, PTCB promotes medication safety and emphasizes the value of our credentialing programs in advancing technician careers and ensuring safe pharmacy practices.

We encourage technicians to join and become active in their state pharmacy associations. These organizations offer opportunities for PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhTs) to network with pharmacy professionals, complete continuing education (CE), and participate as active members to strengthen the voice of technicians. 

PTCB Partnership Funds Program

PTCB launched the PTCB Partnership Funds Program in 2019 to award grants to state pharmacy associations to support projects that promote medication safety and advance technician roles.
