Building Relationships to Advance Patient Care
One of the benefits of working for a community-connected, mission-driven organization like PTCB is the ability we have to connect to the entire pharmacy community. Formed by a collaboration of pharmacy associations and societies across the United States, our consensus-building approach ensures that all voices are heard, incorporating the perspectives of technicians, pharmacists, employers, educators, and regulators. Our collaborative efforts draw on a diverse range of experts from across the industry to update and develop credentials that reflect current best practices in patient care.
For nearly 30 years, PTCB has forged mutually beneficial relationships with many pharmacy organizations representing a range of practice settings and specialties that build on our expertise and strengthen our efforts to advance patient safety and care. The broader knowledge we gain guides us as leaders in the pharmacy community and as the country’s most trusted pharmacy technician credentialing organization.
PTCB leadership, staff, and volunteers frequently exhibit and present at conferences and meetings to share updates on our programs, resources, and activities and gather input from technicians, employers, educators, and the pharmacy community. We encourage CPhTs to become active in pharmacy and pharmacy technician associations to help amplify the voice of technicians.
