PTCB Certification Eligibility Requirements To Change in 2020 - Changes Will Not Affect Active PTCB CPhTs
Starting in 2020, PTCB will change its eligibility requirements for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Program and update its Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). PTCB will offer two eligibility pathways for technicians submitting initial certification applications beginning January 1, 2020. One will be completion of a PTCB-recognized education/training program, and the other will be equivalent work experience. Read more.


Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam Eligible for Reimbursement Under GI Bill
PTCB’s Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) is now available for reimbursement by the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Veterans, active duty service members, caregivers/family members, dependents/survivors, and national guard/reservists are able to take advantage of this opportunity. In accordance with the GI Bill, these groups may be eligible to receive reimbursement for the cost of the exam. Read more.  
 

Your Recertification Process Will Be Easier Than Ever
Deadline Extended To Create Your CPE Monitor e-Profile

PTCB is upgrading your recertification application to save you time. Before you apply to recertify next time, be sure you have
set up your NABP CPE Monitor e-Profile ID to streamline your process. All CPhTs are urged to set up their NABP e-Profile ID before their next recertification deadline, and are required to do so no later than October 2019.
