PTCB Adds 1,000 New Test Centers
PTCB has added 1,000 test center locations to the 400 existing locations where the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) is administered. The additional locations increase access for candidates to take the PTCE and earn their CPhT certifications. The new Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) Exam is currently available at a limited number of test centers. Log into your PTCB Account for details. PTCB Closes Comment Period for Program Changes
During the past three months, PTCB encouraged stakeholders and members of the public to review two important changes in requirements for the PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Program and submit comments through April 11. The comment period has ended, and PTCB is now reviewing comments. The first change is an updated education/training requirement for initial applicants and the second is a new PTCE content outline.
