Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation of marketing plans and campaigns to engage customers, public, and other stakeholder audiences. Implement marketing tools and tactics—digital and non-digital—to achieve targeted goals; to promote PTCB’s programs, products, services, and events; and to strengthen PTCB’s brand. Qualified candidates will have experience working within all aspects of social media, email marketing, and corporate website maintenance.

Social Media (20%)
  • Implement social media marketing plans and campaigns to engage customers, public, and other stakeholder audiences
  • Reformat, edit and/or design social media graphics consistent with brand image
  • Post content according to PTCB’s social media guidelines, and follow all social media discussion and customer service queries
  • Engage with social media comments and customer service issues using preapproved messaging guidance from team and under the supervision of the Marketing Manager
Mass Communications (40%)
  • Manage the distribution of all email communications, formatting and sending regular routine approved blast email communications, such as recert reminders and newsletters, in coordination with the Marketing Manager
  • Create and maintain special/specific mailing lists within CRM as needed, including creating and updating lists and segment data for targeted marketing campaigns
  • Maintain CRM subscription lists and monitor customer subscription rates
  • Manage the third-party email message program; work with stakeholders to approve content, facilitate contracts and secure payment.
Website Development & Maintenance (30%)
  • Prepare and post content for web posting, including CE updates, news releases, special events, etc. under the supervision of the Marketing Manager
  • Implement website updates, including content and graphics
  • Assist with problem-solving HTML coding/formatting as needed
  • Create, update and size graphics for web and e-communications as needed
  • Support website function as necessary
Marketing Support (10%)
  • Assist with ordering all necessary materials for professional meetings
  • Oversee inventory of items PTCB Store and within the PTCB office and manage reordering process
  • Assist with other marketing administrative duties as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Degrees in Marketing, Journalism, or related field are preferred.
  • Requires demonstrated skills, knowledge, and expertise in the design and execution of marketing activities.
Language Ability
Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.

Mathematical Ability
Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

Reasoning Ability
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proficiency in social media and customer engagement 
  • Knowledge of HTML, Microsoft CRM, Adobe Photoshop

  • Ability to collaborate on projects.
