Experienced pharmacy technicians and pharmacists can contribute their expertise to exam development, policy creation, and other projects.

PTCB seeks volunteers who represent a wide range of practice settings, demographic, and experiences. We foster an effective, respectful, and professional environment for all our staff and volunteers in support of PTCB’s mission to advance patient safety.

In addition to supporting PTCB’s mission and contributing to the field of pharmacy, volunteers may benefit from networking opportunities, professional development, and/or earning continuing education (CE) credit.

Current PTCB Volunteer Opportunities:

• Item Writers – PTCB is looking for CPhTs and pharmacists to assist in writing exam items for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. Complete the Volunteer Interest Form to express your interest in volunteering. PTCB staff will then reach out to the most qualified individuals based on project needs.
